Junior Technician - Reliability & Planning

To leverage on this and to expand into the northern & eastern geographies of India, Yara acquired Tata Chemicals\xe2\x80\x99 1.2 MN MT Urea plant in UP, Northern India. With this acquisition Yara India\xe2\x80\x99s scale of operation has grown significantly.

Job Responsibilities

• Vibration Measurement of different machine (Motor, Pump, Compressor, Blower, Belt Conveyor Gearbox, Uplift pump, AHU, Agitators) in plant.
• Vibration Data Collection by Online vibration sensor /Online Bentley Nevada system.
• Conversant to work on vibration Data collector / Data analyzer.
• Data Loading & Unloading in the vibration software.
• Soft Foot measurement to the machines.
• Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly Vibration report of all the machines in soft & hard formats.
• Trending / Tracking of High vibration machine /Abnormalities in the rotary machines.
• Temperature Measurement of Motor, Pump, GB bearings.
• Lube oil sample collections from different machines.
• Noise measurement of different machine and in the township.
• Thermography inspection of equipment & pipelines.
• RPM Measurement of machines by Stroboscope & Taco meter.
• Visual inspection of components/equipment/pipelines.

Job related knowledge

• Knowledge on vibration monitoring points, probe placement & data capturing.
• Knowledge on the hardware & channel attachments of Data collector/analyzer.
• Knowledge on online mode for vibration trends
• Understanding the hierarchy of Vibration software, Machine route creation etc.
• Knowledge on UT thickness measurement of pipelines & equipment.
• Knowledge on the Inspection of steam traps.
• Knowledge of Balancing & counterweight calculations for Fan & Blower Balancing at site i.e. In-situ Balancing of rotary machines
• Understanding the basic functions of MS excel (Formula editing, chart preparation, shortcut keys, data formatting etc.)
• Understanding the basic functions of the MS Word for document preparation and making of the report more convenient to viewer by using pictures and graphs.

Skills Required

• Vibration analyst (ISO Level-1)- Optional
• Basic understanding of vibration codes & standard.
• Good understanding & interpretation of Engineering drawings.
• Computer Savvy is a must.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good academic background.

Education & Experience

Education: ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Candidate should have scored Minimum 60% in 10th,12th & in ITI - Mechanical Engineering Experience: 2-3 years or Freshers with good academic background & knowledge.
