Job Description

Objective:A "Junior Software Engineer" is a junior professional focused on supporting the design and implementation of inhouse-built or in the integration of third-party software solutions (incl. software-as -a-service) used by our business teams. You will be part of a platform team, assisting with all aspects of software design, coding, documentation, and 3rd level operations support.Productivity and Quality

• Translate business requirements into implementable code for the development of high performing, secure and cost-efficient solutions that satisfy business\' needs

• Design, build, test, and fix codebase of business application platforms, ensuring availability and reliabilityCollaboration

• Work closely with and follow guidance provided by senior members of the team

• Effectively communicate with business users and team members

• Further develop communication and relationship building skills, and confidently interact with business users on issue resolution and the implementation of their requests

Leadership

• Proactively build subject matter expertise in the respective business and platform with little guidance (i.e., self-ownership)

Compliance

• Timely complete all compliance obligations and trainings

• Fully understand the compliance, security and operational responsibilities in your area of work

Hiring guidance:The typical education and professional experience for a Junior Software Engineer is a bachelor\'s degree plus up to 2 years of relevant working experience or working in similar role. Alternatively, a fresh graduate with an excellent grade percent average may be hired directly into this role.
