To be successful in this role, there are some requirements to visit our office locations from quarterly to a few times a quarter for workshops, team meetings and collaboration between teams.MissionJoin our maintenance and system administration team in India. This role will be responsible for executing ongoing system maintenance schedules, coordinating DRP exercises, and assisting in release management.Duties:

• Executing maintenance schedule
• Coordinating DRP Exercises
• Troubleshoot during production incidents
• Accept Mentorship from Senior Team Members
• Demonstrate Practical Knowledge in two of the following areas: Release Management, Web Application Development, Linux Administration, Network/Data Center Operations, Source Control Management, Database Administration/Migration(NoSQL and SQL)
• Contribute to design and strategy conversations
• Participate in off hours on-call rotation
• Participate in 1st/2nd level on hours support rotations
• Enforcing compliance requirements
• Manage cloud costs

Individual Outcomes:

• Can plan, estimate, commit, and execute on current sprint\'s deliverables
• Can onboard in 30-60 days from hire date.
• Taking to a full complement of points in each sprint
• Comfortable soloing off hours on-call rotation
• Comfortable with most response plays for on-hours support and delivering within SLA
• Willing to enforce Compliance Standards
• Willing to enforce Architectural and Operational Standards or production applications
• Willing to monitor AWS costs
• Willing to hold themselves accountable to our SLAs

QualificationsQualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of Development, Devops, or Data Center Experience
• Experience with common GitHub developer practices and paradigms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

• Familiarity with bash and python scripting
• Bachelors in CS or related field
• Can demonstrate theoretical understanding containerization
• Can demonstrate theoretical understanding of common devops concepts(CI/CD, configuration management, principle of least access, etc.)
• Practical or classroom experience with AWS

Any of the following are a plus

• Docker
• Terraform
• Linux
• Experience with one or more build tools(Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis, etc.)
• AWS or Azure Cloud Administration
• Bachelors in CS or related field
• Java
• Ansible
• Rundeck
• Network Administration
