Applications are invited for the position of JRF-1 in a CSIR-sponsored project, •"Exploring the role of insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R) signalling in escape from therapy-induced senescence: A novel therapeutic target to prevent adaptive resistance in breast cancers" ,• under the Principal Investigator, Anindita Chakrabarty, Department of Life Sciences (DLS), School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi-NCR (Shiv Nadar IoE), Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, 201314 (U.P.).


The funding availability is for three years.


Essential qualification: Post-graduate degree in any area of life science with a National Level Test (NET, GATE) qualification.


Desirable: Candidates with hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and animal handling will be given preference.


Fellowship: As per CSIR norms.


Duration : The duration of the contract shall be 36 months, to be extended annually based on fund availability as well as a satisfactory assessment of progress.


Project Description: The project aims to examine the role of the insulin-like growth factor signalling pathway in the establishment of adaptive resistance through therapy-induced senescence in breast cancer.
