Siemens Advanta (Chennai) is looking for experienced Test Engineer to test Firmware/OS Software for their Ruggedcom Industrial Communication equipment. The ideal teammate should be a technical expert, flexible, possess a strong work ethic and can lead testing effort. We value ownership and accountability as well as collaboration and support of our teammates in a diverse and inclusive environment.

What are my Job Responsibilities?

• Costing of the proposed solution;
• Designing optimal solutions for/with the customer;
• Conveying the solution to the customer by means of a technical and commercial proposal;
• Participate in large complex multidisciplinary projects;
• Contributing to internal improvement processes;

What do I need to be Eligible for this Role?

• Knowledge of applicable IEC standards (like IEC 61439)
• Customer focused and with commercial mindset;
• Communicative, involved, stress resistant and able to act within a dynamic environment;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken;
• 40-hour workweek.
• Completed Bachelor or Master degree (Electrical engineering preferably) with at least 5 years of experience in proposals;
