Job Summary: The Junior Pharmacy Manager supports the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services. This role involves managing pharmacy staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:Staff Management:
Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising pharmacy staff.
Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Customer Service:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Counsel patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed.
Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate records.
Manage the storage and handling of pharmaceuticals according to regulations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions and controlled substances.
Assist in preparing for and responding to inspections by regulatory bodies.
Operational Efficiency:
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve workflow and efficiency.
Use pharmacy management software to streamline operations and maintain records.
Analyze pharmacy operations and suggest improvements.
Financial Management:
Help manage the pharmacy\'s budget and financial performance.
Assist in pricing medications and services competitively.
Monitor sales and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
Professional Development:
Stay informed about new developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
Attend workshops, seminars, and continuing education programs to enhance professional skills.
Mentor and support the development of pharmacy staff.
