The Junior Pharmacy Manager supports the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services. This role involves managing pharmacy staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Staff Management:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising pharmacy staff.
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects.
- Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate records.
- Manage the storage and handling of pharmaceuticals according to regulations.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions and controlled substances.
- Assist in preparing for and responding to inspections by regulatory bodies.
- Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Use pharmacy management software to streamline operations and maintain records.
- Analyze pharmacy operations and suggest improvements.
- Help manage the pharmacy\'s budget and financial performance.
- Assist in pricing medications and services competitively.
- Monitor sales and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Stay informed about new developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and continuing education programs to enhance professional skills.
- Mentor and support the development of pharmacy staff.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to carry pharmaceutical supplies and equipment.
- Manual dexterity to handle and dispense medications.
