Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network & Server Administrator to join our IT team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundational understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance and administration of our network and server infrastructure, with a focus on learning and development.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software. Provide basic technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Assist in the setup and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls (especially Sophos firewalls). Monitor network performance and identify potential issues. Assist in server maintenance and administration tasks. Maintain accurate documentation of network and server configurations. Assist in the implementation of security measures to protect the network and data. Stay up-to-date with the latest networking and server technologies. Provide clear and concise written reports and updates.

Skill Set Requirements:

Strong understanding of computer hardware and software. Basic knowledge of networking concepts. Understanding of basic computer and laptop installation and management. Understanding of Sophos firewall concepts. Excellent written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Proactive learning attitude and willingness to learn new technologies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux). Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
