Responsibilities:Direct & Indirect Purchasing:Source and procure sheet metal coils, balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.Manage indirect purchasing activities, including procurement of maintenance services, consumables, and equipment.BOP Purchases:Procure BOP items essential for automotive manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.Maintenance Services:Source and negotiate contracts for maintenance services, including equipment servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance.Experience with MSIL Central Purchasing System:Utilize and navigate MSIL central purchasing system effectively to streamline procurement processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards.Consumable Store Management:Oversee the consumable store, managing inventory levels of copper tips and other materials required for manufacturing operations.Equipment Procurement:Source, evaluate, and procure equipment such as robots, dies, and jig fixtures essential for automotive manufacturing processes.Supplier Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, resolving issues, and ensuring supplier performance meets organizational requirements.Cost Optimization:Implement cost optimization strategies, including supplier negotiations, value analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluations.Compliance and Documentation:Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
