Junior Engineer Purchase - Male only - 1.5 years to 3 years Reporting location - Kanuvai, Coimbatore (75 % Travel inside Coimbatore) No of Opening - 1 Roles and Responsibilities: Machining Components for Dust and Fume Extraction System:

8. Experience in dust & fume extraction systems or relevant Education:
- Source and evaluate suppliers for machining components required for dust and fume extraction systems.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure the quality of machined components meets the required standards.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to understand technical specifications and requirements.
- Identify suppliers capable of providing rubber and injection molding components for air pollution control equipment.
- Manage the procurement process from supplier selection to delivery.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor supplier performance to maintain consistent quality and timely delivery.
- Source raw materials such as sheets, pipe, Sq tube, L angle, Non - Metallic items are required for dust and fume extraction systems.
- Analyze market trends to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Develop relationships with raw material suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Maintain inventory levels to support production requirements.
- Coordinate transportation logistics using vehicles like Eicher and Dost for efficient material movement.
- Plan material requirements based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Optimize transport routes to minimize costs and delivery times.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production deadlines.
- Manage procurement activities related to NPD projects, Tool & die.
- Procure electrical components required for various systems within the organization.
- Identify vendors specializing in laser cutting, bending, rolling, and machine shop services
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of air pollution control equipment, dust and fume extraction systems, and associated technologies.
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD or similar design software. ERP knowledge added advantage
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to vendor location as needed.
