Position Title: Junior Designer cum Translator

Department: Design & Development

Reports To: Senior Designer / Design Manager

Location: Shah Gems, Jaipur, Rajasthan

The Junior Designer cum Translator will be responsible for assisting the design team in creating innovative jewelry designs and translating design documents, specifications, and communications between different languages as required. This role demands a blend of creative design skills and proficiency in multiple languages to ensure smooth communication within the design and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Support:

o Assist the design team in developing new jewelry designs, concepts, and collections.

o Create sketches, and renderings using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, CAD

software).

o Collaborate with the Senior Designer to refine and finalize designs based on feedback.

o Prepare technical drawings and specifications for production.

2. Translation:

o Translate design documents, specifications, and communications between English and Hindi

o Assist in translating meetings, discussions, and presentations to ensure clear communication among team members.

o Review and proofread translated materials for accuracy and clarity.

3. Communication:

o Liaise between the design team and other departments (e.g., production, marketing) to ensure design requirements are clearly understood.

o Assist in preparing design presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

o Maintain clear and organized records of design documents and translations.

4. Research and Trends:

o Stay updated with the latest jewelry design trends, techniques, and materials.

o Conduct market research to gather inspiration and insights for new designs.

o Participate in design workshops, training sessions, and industry events to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in jewelry design and translation (internship experience can be considered).
• Skills:

o Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, CAD software.

o Fluency in English and Hindi.

o Strong artistic and creative skills with attention to detail.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

o Knowledge of jewelry production processes and materials is a plus.

Pay: From ?20,000.00 per month
