Job Title: Civil Site Engineer & Furniture Operations Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to primarily serve as a site engineer while contributing to furniture operations a few days each month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or architecture, along with skills in design, accounting, and business management. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to work across two fast-growing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Engineering (Primary Focus):

• Supervise on-site construction and interior design projects to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Prepare and review project plans, layouts, and blueprints.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to meet project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with local building regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
• Maintain project documentation and provide progress reports.
• Create detailed bills and quotations for projects.
• Use design software to assist with layouts and visualization as required.

Furniture Operations (Occasional Focus):

• Oversee specific operational tasks, including production planning and quality control, a few days each month.
• Collaborate with the design team to provide input on new furniture collections.
• Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors as needed.
• Handle accounting tasks, including budgeting and financial tracking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.
• Experience with creating bills, quotations, and handling financial documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of solid wood furniture and interior design trends.
• Experience with sales and marketing in the furniture or construction sector.
• Familiarity with accounting tools and business management software.
• Creative aptitude in design and visualization tools.
