Who You'll Work With

You'll work with and be part of our Risk and Resilience Team. You'll be based in our McKinsey Knowledge Center in Gurgaon.
McKinsey's Risk Practice develops and implements individual concepts to recognize, measure, and manage risk for the world's largest banks and insurance companies as well as industrial companies active in a wide range of sectors. An international team of analysts supports our consultants by providing focused information and subject-specific analyses.
McKinsey Knowledge Centre is the hub of McKinsey's global Knowledge Management capability. It works with McKinsey consulting teams across the globe. The Centre has grown into McKinsey's largest research unit, comprising of about 650 Knowledge Management professionals and one of the world's largest collections of global electronic databases under one roof.
What You'll Do

In this role you will support consultants engaged in client service, clientele development and knowledge building by delivering highly relevant synthesized information, original analysis and insight via our proprietary databases; support development & help maintain the contents of the McKinsey's proprietary databases; leverage broad range of proprietary and third-party data sources at work to collect, analyze and synthesize relevant facts that serve as critical inputs to client service teams dealing with risk management in the banking and insurance sector as well as for industrial companies.
You will help McKinsey client service teams determine the most appropriate solution to the issues they are working on, effectively balancing quality, availability, timeliness, and cost limitations; engage in internal problem solving to further develop and improve our offerings. You will have access to our outstanding knowledge structure and an international network of experts.
Qualifications
------------------


• 2024 bachelor's degree (finance/economics/quantitative or related major) with above average academic performance
• Basic knowledge and interest in banking and insurance sector and risk related topics
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and work well both in individual and team setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong analytics, supplemented by experience in handling multiple data sources, conduct preliminary analysis and generate reports
• Well versed with MS office (Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint & Access)
• Knowledge of Python/Power BI/Tableau or any other data visualization tool will be an added advantage
• Professional attitude and service orientation
• Willing to work in a highly demanding and results-oriented team environment
• Preferably based out of Delhi/NCR
