Description The client is a world-leading provider of telecommunication solutions to mobile & fixed network operators. GlobalLogic has a long and very successful partnership with this Company started back in 2002. As an extension, a team was built that is responsible for a specific area - maintenance of products that are utilized by key US telecom operators. Requirements Experience in Development, Debugging, and Testing of multi-tier Unix and Windows systems. Good knowledge of Unix/RHEL (console commands, Shell scripts, VI). Experience in C/C++. Understanding the process of Compiling, Linking, Making/Building applications. Willing to get experienced in development of Java and C applications for Unix and Windows Excellent troubleshooting and reporting skills. Experience in SQL. Understanding of SDLC. Experience in MS/Google Office (Word, Excell, Powerpoint). Experience in Learning, Reading and Writing technical documentation. Self-organized and highly motivated, with a strong analytical mind. Have good written and verbal communication skills, willing to work in a multinational environment. Desired Experience in: Version Control system, Jira, Confluence, Oracle/Informix DBMS, Comfortable working on middle-scaled, complex systems. Job Responsibilities The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Unix-based applications with Windows GUI. As a Developer you\'ll use your experience of development methodologies to translate Requirements into System\'s Design, Architecture and implement them into Code. Having strong technical ability, you will control the set-up of Development and Testing environments, investigate and resolve issues including 3PSW interface problems. Owning and managing defects through the lifecycle, you will ensure that all actions are completed to guarantee product\'s quality prior to customer release. You will plan and execute the scope of Development, Unit and Multi-Unit Testing, to ensure all requirements are completely implemented with minimum efforts.
