Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our design team. The Junior Architect will assist in developing architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, and supporting project teams throughout the planning and construction phases. This role is ideal for a creative individual eager to grow within a dynamic environment while contributing to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development
• Assist in creating architectural designs, sketches, and concepts.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and functional solutions.
• Drafting and Documentation
• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Produce detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, and sections.
• Project Coordination
• Support project teams in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and assist in resolving design and technical issues.
• Code Compliance and Research
• Ensure designs meet building codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications.
• Conduct research on materials, products, and sustainability practices.
• Site Involvement
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for client presentations.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience : 0-2 years of professional experience in architectural design or a similar role.
• Skills :
• Proficiency in architectural drafting and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Basic understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of sustainable design principles (LEED accreditation is a plus).
• Familiarity with rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray) and graphic design tools (Adobe Suite).
• Exposure to project management tools and processes.
