•Job Title: Junior Architect •
•Location: Kochi •
•Report To: Senior Architect / Design Manager •

Job Summary:

As a Junior Architect, you will develop architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring design excellence, quality control, and adherence to client needs and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, consultants, advisors, specialists and project managers, leveraging your extensive knowledge to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions in a variety of sectors including commercial, industrial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural design process for medium & large-scale projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Understand customer needs and translate client requirements and vision into detailed working drawings. Ensure designs are finalized in a timely manner with the customer.
• Develop master plan in compliance with statutory requirements and design principles.
• Understand and apply municipal codes and local/state/national building code/regulations in project design and planning.
• Create floor plans that maximize space utilization, considering interior design principles, structural design and MEP requirements.

Qualification & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree with First Class in Architecture, preferably with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Architecture/Urban Planning/Regional Planning/Urban Engineering
• 5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably within an engineering or multidisciplinary consulting firm.
• 2 years of experience in lead roles including production of project design deliverables like Master Plan, Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, checking of rendered plans/3D perspectives, etc. and design of 5 Star Hotel/ Malls/ Commercial Complexes/ Corporate Offices/Institutional buildings/ Industrial buildings/ Villas and apartment projects.
• Professional Architectural Registration.
• Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
• Experience in following design phases- Concept closure, Design Development and producing Tender & Execution drawings
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent verbal & written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Team Leadership, Project Management, Time Management, Priority Management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with sustainable design principles (LEED certification or similar).
• Sketch up, Enscape, Photoshop, GLIMP & AI tools like Prome AI is added benefit
• Experience in Interior Designing and detailing.
• Knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles.
• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.

• Develop building elevations that meet customer requirements while adhering to budget constraints.
• Develop and maintain Revit libraries to streamline project workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure integration of architectural elements with MEP and other systems
• Review and approve design documentation, including drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Generate accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) using Revit for project costing and resource planning.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project goals, requirements, and expectations, offering expert advice on architectural solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Stay updated with industry trends, sustainability practices, and new technologies to incorporate into design work.
• Oversee site inspections and ensure construction complies with design intent, building codes, and regulations.
