Role Overview Gayathri and Namith Architects is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Junior Architect to join our innovative and collaborative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in architectural design, exceptional technical skills, and a passion for creating meaningful, sustainable, and impactful spaces.
Key Responsibilities 1. Design Development: - Assist in conceptualizing and developing architectural designs for diverse projects. - Create detailed 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations. 2. Technical Documentation: - Prepare and develop detailed working drawings, plans, and specifications. - Collaborate on the production of construction documents and tender packages. 3. Collaboration: - Work closely with senior architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. - Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews. 4. Project Coordination: - Support in managing timelines and deliverables to meet project goals. - Assist in site visits, surveys, and documentation. 5. Innovation and Learning: - Stay updated with the latest trends in architecture, design, and technology. - Actively participate in training and workshops. Required Skills and Qualifications - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architecture or design firms. - Software Proficiency: - Mandatory: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Lumion/Enscape/V-Ray. - Preferred: Grasshopper, GIS, or other parametric tools. - Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods. - Proficiency in producing detailed working drawings and construction documentation. - Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
