Job Title: Senior Architect

Job Summary:

The Senior Architect is a leadership role responsible for overseeing complex architectural projects from conception to completion. This position involves designing innovative solutions, managing project teams, liaising with clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic direction throughout the design and construction phases. The Senior Architect plays a key role in mentoring junior architects and ensuring the quality and sustainability of all architectural work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Lead and manage large, complex architectural projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

2. Design & Innovation: Create advanced, sustainable, and innovative designs that meet client needs, aesthetic goals, and functional requirements.

3. Client Consultation & Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their vision, providing expert advice, and ensuring expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Team Management: Mentor and oversee junior architects and design teams, providing technical guidance, feedback, and support.

5. Technical Oversight: Review and approve all architectural designs, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with regulations.

6. Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate design elements and resolve challenges during the construction process.

7. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards, maintaining high levels of quality, safety, and sustainability.

8. Budgeting & Resource Management: Develop project budgets, resource plans, and schedules, ensuring that the project stays within financial and time constraints.

9. Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure construction aligns with the design intent.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Master's degree in Architecture (or equivalent).

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in architectural design and project management.

Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp).

Expertise in building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability practices.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.

Work Environment:

The Senior Architect will typically work in an office setting but will also be required to visit project sites regularly for inspections and meetings. Some travel may be necessary, depending on project locations. The role involves both leadership and hands-on design work, often working with cross-disciplinary teams to bring projects to life.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?22,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
