Job Summary:

An Architect is responsible for designing buildings and structures, ensuring they meet functional, aesthetic, and safety standards. They work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to turn concepts into reality while adhering to regulations, budgets, and schedules. The role combines creativity, technical skills, and project management to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Creation: Develop architectural concepts and designs that align with client needs, project requirements, and building codes.

2. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and goals for the project. Provide expert guidance on design and functionality.

3. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications for construction, using CAD software or other design tools.

4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless execution of the design, resolving any technical issues that arise.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

6. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure designs are implemented within scope and deadlines.

7. Site Visits: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure the construction process is progressing according to design and to resolve any issues during implementation.

8. Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into designs, including energy efficiency and resource conservation.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino).

Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and design teams.

Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.

Work Environment:

Architects typically work in office settings but may also spend time at construction sites for inspections or client meetings. The role requires both individual focus for design work and teamwork for project execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
