We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accounts & Finance Manager with extensive experience in the Transport and Shipping industry. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of expertise in handling financial management, reporting, analysis, and compliance. This is a critical leadership position that demands a candidate with strong financial acumen, leadership capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial trends, and assist in financial planning.
• Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and oversee the preparation of tax filings and audits.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage company cash flow and ensure liquidity for operational needs.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions based on findings.
• Cost Control: Review and manage the costs and expenses associated with shipping and transport operations.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and guide junior accounts staff, and collaborate with other departments for smooth financial operations.
• ERP System Management: Maintain and optimize the ERP system for accurate financial data entry and reporting.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to the shipping industry.
• Strategic Input: Collaborate with senior management for strategic financial decisions and risk management.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: CA, CS, or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years in accounts and finance, with at least 2-3 years in a senior role, preferably in the transport, logistics, or shipping industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle complex financial data.
• Availability: immediate joiners will be preferred.
