Job Title: Junior Accounts Executive

Job Summary:
The Junior Accounts Executive will assist in the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and compliance with accounting policies. This role supports the finance department by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budget and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping and Accounting:
• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Assist in managing company accounts and preparing financial statements.
• Invoicing and Payments:
• Prepare, send, and follow up on invoices.
• Process payments and manage cash flow.
• Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare basic financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Support budget preparation and monitoring.
• Compliance and Audits:
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data.
• Help prepare necessary documents for tax filings.
• Expense Tracking:
• Monitor and track employee expenses and reimbursements.
• Maintain records of petty cash transactions.
• General Administrative Support:
• Handle queries related to accounts and finances.
• Maintain organized files for all financial documents.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internship experience acceptable).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar). Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Key Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
