• Financial Record Keeping:
• Maintain and update financial records in the hospital's accounting system.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Resolve discrepancies in bank statements.
• Billing and Invoicing:
• Assist in preparing and sending out patient bills and invoices.
• Address billing inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain regular financial reports for management.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
• Expense Management:
• Monitor hospital expenses and ensure they are within budget.
• Assist in expense reporting and analysis.
• Compliance and Audits:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and hospital policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Data Entry and Management:
• Accurately enter financial data into the accounting system.
• Maintain organized and updated financial records.
• Support to Senior Accounts Team:
• Provide support to senior accounts executives and the finance manager in various accounting tasks.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• General Administrative Support:
• Assist in administrative tasks related to the finance department.
• Handle other duties as assigned by the senior accounts team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position, typically within standard office hours.
• May require occasional extended hours during peak financial periods or audits.
