Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career by gaining hands-on experience in day-to-day financial operations, supporting senior staff, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports Process accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts Support month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and update financial records and documentation Assist in preparing tax filings and compliance reports Perform data entry and general administrative duties in the accounting department Help with audits and other financial reviews Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment issues or account inquiries Adhere to company policies and accounting principles

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships or coursework can be considered) Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills
