We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our remote team. This role is crucial in managing our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining financial health for our company. Must have 2 years of experience working in US IT Staffing companies managing H1b employees payroll.
: The role of staff accountant involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. Interaction with vendors on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Keep track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Maintain historical records with accuracy in accounting/ book keeping
Pay vendors and ensure payments are received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance
Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports
Continue to improve the accounting processes
Additional duties assigned by management as necessary
Experience in Quickbooks a must
Qualifications and Requirements:
2-3 years of prior accounts payable/ receivables experience
Degree in accounting preferred
Professional demeanor
Proficiency at Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
