Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) construction sector. The candidate will be responsible for managing essential financial and accounting operations to support our ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare and maintain accurate records of project expenses and revenues.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Process invoices, track payments, and perform reconciliations.

Monitor project costs and ensure they align with approved budgets.

Support payroll processing and statutory compliance (e.g., TDS, GST).

Prepare and file GST returns and assist with tax-related documentation.

Collaborate with project teams to streamline financial operations.

Maintain compliance with accounting policies and company procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or MEP sector.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian financial regulations.

Excellent MS Excel and data analysis skills.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
