Job Description

Position Overview - we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in handling various accounting tasks, including GST compliance, Tally software operations, TDS compliance, bank reconciliations, PF and ESIC calculations, ledger maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Tally software.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations by timely filing GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
• Handle TDS compliance, including deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns (Form 26Q, 24Q, etc.) within deadlines.
• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of transactions and balances.
• Maintain ledger accounts and ensure proper classification and recording of financial transactions.
• Handle sales and purchase entries, including invoicing, recording of receipts and payments, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, follow up on overdue invoices, and maintain a healthy cash flow.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to GST, TDS, and other relevant areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience (at least 2-3 years) Only working as an accountant,
• Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, GST regulations, TDS provisions.
• Proficiency in using Tally ERP or similar accounting software, as well as MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in financial matters.
