Who We Are Looking For:

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of India Tax Accountant.

India junior tax accountant is an in-house tax role assisting in tax compliance, tax accounting, and controversy. He/She will work as an individual contributor in Bangalore, and report to India tax manager.

What You Will Do:

1. Compliance:

\xe2\x88\x99 Assist tax returns\' preparation and filing, e.g. monthly/quarterly/annual tax filing.

\xe2\x88\x99 Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to standardize and optimize tax operation processes, e.g. tax filing. \xe2\x88\x99 Coordinate with tax vendors and AGCO finance team on managing electronic invoices related matters.

\xe2\x88\x99 Support regional tax manger on TP documentation and tax digitalization.

\xe2\x88\x99 Assist GST refund process and implementation of other tax planning projects.

\xe2\x88\x99 Tidy up and keep all tax returns, supporting documents/correspondence relating to tax based on AGCO/Tax authorities\' requirements.

2. Tax accounting:

\xe2\x88\x99 Lead monthly reconciliation of tax accounts, e.g. GST, income tax, identify reasons of variance, and communicate with internal stakeholders.

\xe2\x88\x99 Prepare deferred tax forecast and true-up, and communicate with tax teams in US/UK.

3. Controversy:

\xe2\x88\x99 Assist tax audits and controversy in India in order to close cases with minimum tax impacts.

4. Provide other required supports.

What You Will Bring:

1. One to Two years tax experience from accounting firm. Big 4 is a plus.

2. Full time bachelor\'s degree in accounting/tax/auditing from a recognized university.

3. Good communication skills.

4. Fluent in English for working in a multi-culture environment
