Responsibilities:
This is an entry level position in the Security Department. Will be expected to handle Security tickets and perform Level 1 triage. This may include investigating irregular logins, emails and other events. Will regularly perform audits on IT settings and infrastructure, as well as policies and procedures company wide. Will monitor various tools and logs for accuracy and irregularities that may require to act and/or escalate. Will develop and perform phishing campaigns monthly. Providing guidance to amateur computer users when they want to know about security procedures and policies. Gather feedback from end users to continue to improve systems
Core Duties by Competency: Knows the Business • Assist in implementation of new tools, policies, and procedures that will optimize and streamline our goals of maintaining and hardening our security posture and the CIA.
• Basic understanding of common security threats across multiple attack vectors.
• Basic knowledge of industry standard security frameworks
• System hardening
Accountable • Respond to Servicedesk tickets as they come in and follow proper procedures
• Complete tasks given in a timely manner
• Good documentation on tasks, tickets, and communications
• Provide regular updates to manager and be prepared during weekly meetings
Team Player • May be asked to assist others on irregular tasks
• Perform all duties with a level of integrity and honesty that represents Patra in a positive manner.
• Know when to ask for assistance or escalate issues and requests; as well as the ability to take the initiative to handle things on their own.
Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to work night shifts as required by department management.
