• Review findings from various quality audits oversee investigations and guide measures to minimize cases of deviation
• Prepare Schedule and conduct of quality reviews for in-production, in-process and during new product development stages to ensure compliance with prescribed quality procedures and processes
• Review all instances of non-conformation and ensure communication with the Sourcing & Vendor Development, Inventory Management, Stores and Logistics, Production and Projects team and support them in taking corrective measures
• Periodically review the adherence to quality standards by external vendors devise plans for addressing any discrepancies
• Review quality reports on performance of external vendors on quality standards, including raw material inspection, service quality, etc.
• Drive coordination with Customer Care and Coordinating & Monitoring team
• Resolve customer complaints related to product quality. Oversee investigation and interactions with production, design and development teams to address the root causes of such quality complaints
• Monitor investigation of warranty / replacement issues (as and when required) and warranty costs
• Implement Operational Excellence activities like Kaizen, poka-yoke, TQM, QC tools and coordinate with the production team for uniform implementation
