Job Description
Jr. Engineer (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering)
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in Die Maintenance
Key Responsibilities:1. overall health maintenance of tooling/dies/ jigs/ fixtures. Attending breakdown maintenance and modifications if required.2. Execute the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Plan for Dies
Follow and execute the Preventive Maintenance plan for dies and tools, ensuring that they are maintained according to a scheduled timeline to prevent failures and downtime.3. Maintain Record of Spare Resharpening (tool history card )
Keep detailed records of spare parts that are sent for resharpening (e.g., dies, punches, etc.) to ensure timely repairs and replacements.4. Send/Receive Spare Parts for Resharpening
Coordinate the shipping and receipt of spare parts sent out for resharpening.
Maintain a log of parts sent and received, including delivery dates and supplier information.5. Daily Store Activities
Oversee daily activities in the store related to spare parts, consumables, and tools.
Inventory planning inline budget
Ensure proper organization and housekeeping within the store.
preparation of PRN/MRN and follow up with purchase and supplier.6. Maintain Engineering Records
Ensure that all engineering-related records, such as maintenance logs, work orders, spare part inventory, and machine data, are accurate and up-to-date.7. study of process requirement and set up with line balancing.
