We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Civil Engineer to join our company. As a Site Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, and maintaining high-quality standards for all civil works on-site. You will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of construction projects within scheduled timelines and budgetary constraints.Responsibilities:
Expected Start Date: 20/06/2024
- Visiting sites and inspecting internal and external attributes of the structures as per the provided approved building plan and local Laws.
- Civil Engineering design and planning skills
- Knowledge of construction management principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with civil engineers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve complex problems and work in a dynamic environment
- In-depth understanding of construction materials, pricing and industry
- Estimate the quantity and cost of materials
- Prepare contracts and documents
- Set budgets for payment inventory needs and materials
- Track changes in plans or constructions; updates budgets
- Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
- Prepare payments for contractors and subcontractors
- Knowledge with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices in India.
- Proficiency of MS Office & ERP tools is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address construction challenges effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards for all civil works on-site.
