Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management:
• Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects.
• Support senior engineers in project scheduling and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Design and Analysis:
• Conduct site visits and surveys to collect data for engineering analysis.
• Assist in preparing detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis to support project designs.
• Quality Assurance and Control:
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure that materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
• Report any deviations or issues to senior engineers and suggest corrective actions.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
• Ensure all documentation is up to date and properly filed.
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety plans.
• Report any safety incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on engineering solutions.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in civil engineering technology.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to process improvements and innovative solutions within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?28,000.00 per month
