• Process payroll for multiple companies, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Collect and verify payroll-related data, including employee hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Ensure all statutory deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related items are accurately calculated and applied.
• Maintain accurate records of payroll data, including employee pay, deductions, and benefits information.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments to track changes related to personnel, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries, providing clear and timely information as needed.
• Cost Allocation & Reporting:
• Extract payroll data (e.g., total salary costs, benefits, and taxes) and allocate these costs across different departments, projects, and business units.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports that outline the allocation of payroll costs, helping the business understand the distribution of payroll expenses.
• Ensure accurate mapping and categorization of payroll expenses according to predefined allocation rules and cost centers.
• Consolidate payroll data for reporting purposes, ensuring consistency and accuracy in cost allocation for each company or department.
• Work with finance and accounting teams to integrate payroll cost allocation into broader financial reports and budget analyses.
• Analysis & Insights:
• Analyze trends in payroll costs across various departments, identifying areas for potential cost savings or inefficiencies.
• Support cost control initiatives by providing insights into the breakdown and trends of payroll-related expenses.
• Assist in identifying discrepancies in payroll cost allocation and work towards resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure payroll cost allocation is aligned with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure payroll and cost allocation practices comply with relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain proper documentation for payroll and cost allocation processes to ensure audit readiness.
• Assist in preparing payroll-related reports for internal and external audits, as needed.
