Summarize the shift output stage wise and communicate to Planning Communicate to subsequent shift for any further instruction, urgent and replacement items, new press tool follow up, etc. Planning of consumable & tooling for machines -- Maintain Safety stock, define re-order level to ensure no stock out situation arises, and proper accounting is maintained. Prepare and list actions for investment required based on the forecast of press tools consumption. If any Submission of Finished Press tool for Final Inspection Dispatch or issue of completed Press tool or repair tool to respective Units Identify the issues which are preventing in achieving target numbers, quality, delays, safety, and better ways of doing. Work with PU Leader or identified action owners to address the issues, identify the opportunities for improvement. Planning activities Major Focus: Daily Management of Work (DMW) Activity Receipt order through mail or ERP for New / Repair of tools from PU5, PU2, External sources Enter the Order (New or Rework) in the Order Master tracker and update required delivery date or standard lead time Check for availability of design or drawing for new tools If not, raise Task on the NC-Design team for design or drawing For the Rework Tool, make the Identification for purpose of rework with Tray or Kit, Move to Manufacturing for processing Check for the availability of stock for Carbide, blank, electrode etc. Raise PR for consumables based on the consumption pattern and maintain minimum stock defined Following with Vendor and organize for blanks, carbide etc. -- Maintain Safety stock, define re-order level to ensure no stock out situation arises, and proper accounting is maintained. Based on the FIFO & Priority customer, Prepare the weekly plan considering the capacity Tracking of Press tool elements at different stages based on New or Rework Updation of Daily monitoring dashboard and circulating to team members Co-ordination with Press tool shop and inform customer like PU5, PU2, others and give communication on delivery and reschedule date Monitor the metrices related to the department. Report to the leader all the parameters by means of a graph regarding RFT, OEE, Productivity, Production Output, training etc., Identify issues faced by Vendors with respect to LT, rework, rejection, Safety, rework Support vendors in resolving above issues and identifying opportunities for improvement, which will help to improve Plant Performance.
