We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with the knowledge of SAP to join our Kolkata team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP software and possess strong accounting skills. This role involves managing SAP operations and assisting with various back-office accounting tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP Operations:
Utilize SAP software to perform various tasks including data entry, report generation, and transaction processing.
Maintain accurate records within the SAP system and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with other departments to address SAP-related issues and provide support as needed.
Update and maintain master data records in the SAP system.
2. Back Office Accounting:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and vouchers for processing.
Conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required.
Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as needed.
3. Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues.
Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience working with SAP software is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

This is a full-time position based in Kolkata, India.
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
