Job Description

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial planning, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This role involves preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in financial software.

Key Responsibilities:



Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Prepare periodic financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports as required. Process invoices, manage billing cycles, and ensure timely collection of receivables. Track and resolve discrepancies with vendors and clients. Monitor expenses, prepare expense reports, and assist in the development of budgetary controls. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in month-end closing processes. Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including verifying, posting, and processing payments. Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations. Maintain accurate records in accounting software and financial databases. Assist in preparing analysis reports, budgeting forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and budget management.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA certification is a plus 0-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a similar industry. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
