Job Description

A site incharge, also known as a site manager, site supervisor, construction manager, or site agent, has many responsibilities, including:

• Project management: Ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the client's specifications

• Safety: Implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of everyone on site

• Quality control: Ensuring that the project meets quality standards

• Communication: Liaising with clients, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication

• Resource management: Managing the personnel, equipment, and resources needed to complete the project

• Reporting: Generating reports to provide an overview of the project's progress

• Budgeting: Tracking expenses and identifying opportunities to save money

• Contractor selection: Providing input on selecting and hiring contractors

• Site visits: Accompanying clients during site visits and answering questions about the project's progress

Site managers typically have a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or architecture, and experience as a contractor
