Job Description

Operate and set up jig boring machines to perform precision machining operations.

? Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine the machining requirements.

? Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.

? Adjust machine settings, such as speed, feed rate, and depth of cut, to achieve precise tolerances and surface finishes.

? Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.

? Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

? Maintain and troubleshoot the machine as needed, performing routine maintenance.

? Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals and quality standards.

? Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. ? Proven experience with jig boring.

? A good knowledge of tool setting.

? Must be able check their own work using standard dimensional checking equipment. ? Good level of dexterity.

? Competent in numeracy and literacy, computer use and able to read and understand technical documentation.

Experience 3 to 5 years Education A high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably a technical degree or certification in a relevant field, such as mechanical or manufacturing engineering

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
