: Jewelry Designer Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Jewelry Designer with a strong proficiency in Metrix 9 and Rhino 7 software. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 5 years of experience in the jewelry design field, with a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for innovation. This role will involve conceptualizing, designing, and developing jewelry pieces in line with our brand aesthetic and market trends. Responsibilities:
- Design Creation: Utilize Metrix 9 and Rhino 7 software to create detailed and accurate 3D models of jewelry pieces, considering both aesthetic appeal and technical feasibility.
- Conceptualization: Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize new jewelry designs, incorporating market trends, consumer preferences, and brand identity.
- Prototype Development: Translate 3D models into physical prototypes or digital renders for review, ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Metrix 9 and Rhino 7, leveraging tools and features to optimize design workflows and overcome technical challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on prototypes and final products to identify and rectify any design flaws or discrepancies before production.
- Material Selection: Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate materials for each design, considering factors such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and aesthetic appeal.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions and maintain relevance in the market.
- Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts, specifications, and feedback to cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and production staff.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design iterations, specifications, and revisions to facilitate seamless collaboration and ensure design integrity throughout the production process.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in jewelry design, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Metrix 9 and Rhino 7.
- Expertise in 3D modeling, rendering, and prototyping techniques, with a focus on jewelry design.
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong creative vision and ability to translate conceptual ideas into tangible designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented approach to design, with a commitment to quality and precision.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
- Familiarity with gemology and gemstone setting techniques is advantageous.
