Overview: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Jewellery Counter Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for jewellery and gemstones, coupled with exceptional customer service skills. As a Jewellery Counter Salesman, you will engage with customers, showcase our exquisite jewellery collections, and drive sales through your expertise and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs and preferences.
• Provide accurate information (e.g., pricing, features, and benefits) about our jewellery products.
• Assist customers in selecting jewellery that suits their style, occasion, and budget.
• Advise customers on gemstone qualities, cuts, and settings.
• Showcase jewellery collections in an appealing manner to stimulate customer interest.
• Handle transactions efficiently and accurately, including processing payments, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the jewellery counter and display cases.
• Stay updated on jewellery trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Uphold company standards regarding professionalism, appearance, and attitude.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Jewellery Sales Associate or similar role in a retail environment.
• Deep knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales ability with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a flair for visual presentation.
• Integrity and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma; additional certification in Gemology or relevant field is a plus.
