Summery:

As a Jewellery Designer, you will be responsible for creating unique, high-quality jewellery pieces that align with the latest fashion trends and brand aesthetics. You will conceptualize and design pieces, from initial sketches to final production, incorporating creativity, technical skills, and an eye for detail to produce innovative jewellery collections.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development:

? Conceptualize and create original jewellery designs, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other accessories.

? Develop sketches, renderings, or CAD models to represent design ideas.

? Research trends, materials, and historical references to inspire new designs.

2. Material Selection:

? Select appropriate metals, stones, and other materials based on design requirements, budget, and target market.

? Work with suppliers to source unique materials and gemstones.

3. Prototyping and Testing:

? Create prototypes and oversee the sampling process to ensure that designs are feasible and of high quality.

? Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated from concept to finished product.

4. Trend Analysis:

? Stay updated on market trends, consumer preferences, and new techniques in jewellery design.

? Attend trade shows, fashion events, and exhibitions to gain industry insights and inspiration.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

? Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and production teams to align designs with brand objectives and market needs.

? Present ideas to management and collaborate on branding, packaging, and product launch strategies.

6. Technical Skills:

? Use CAD software and other digital tools to refine designs and create detailed specifications for production.

? Understand jewellery construction techniques and apply best practices to ensure durability and quality.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

? Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, or Matrix.

? Strong understanding of jewellery-making techniques and materials.

? A portfolio of previous work showcasing creativity, style, and technical skills.

? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
