Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Based on skills and experience Job Summary: As a Jewellery Designer at V V Gold, you will be responsible for creating unique and aesthetically pleasing jewellery pieces. This role requires a combination of artistic talent, creativity, and technical skills to design jewellery that aligns with current fashion trends and meets customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and Development: - Create original jewellery designs using various materials such as gold, silver, gemstones, and other precious metals. - Develop design concepts and sketches, and convert them into detailed technical drawings or digital renderings. - Keep up with the latest trends in jewellery and fashion to inspire new designs. 2. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing them with design proposals and modifications as needed. - Collaborate with other team members, including gemologists, metalworkers, and production staff, to ensure designs are feasible and can be produced within budget and time constraints. 3. Technical Skills: - Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create precise models of jewellery pieces. - Stay informed about new techniques and technologies in jewellery design and manufacturing. 4. Material Selection: - Choose appropriate materials and gemstones for each design, considering factors like durability, cost, and aesthetic appeal. - Source materials from suppliers and ensure they meet quality standards. 5. Quality Control: - Oversee the production process to ensure the final product matches the original design and meets the company's quality standards. - Address any issues that arise during production and make necessary adjustments. 6. Marketing and Trends: - Participate in marketing initiatives by providing design insights and assisting in the creation of promotional materials. - Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events to stay updated on market trends and network with other professionals. Requirements: - Experience: [X] years of experience in jewellery design or a similar role. - Skills: - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, or CAD. - Strong artistic and creative abilities. - Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials.
