Role: JD Edward- Technical Consultant
Exp:5 to 8 Years
Location: Mumbai/Kolkata/hyderabad/BangaloreJD
Oracle JD Edwerd Work with end users to assist in issues that may arise in using the application such as configuring the JDE applications, customization and fixing functional issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, understanding business processes, and aligning JD Edwards functionalities to meet client requirements. Trouble shooting and resolution of Oracle JDE ERP incidents, and manage systems integrations to/from JDE EdwardsManage SLAs and guide the team to triage, identify and recommend technical solutions for fixing issues and enhancements such as functional configuration, JDE reports, interfaces, data integrations and customizations. Collaborate and work with business and cross-functional teams to identify & implement effective solutions that automates and optimizes technical performance and finance processes. Implement permanent solution by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the incidents. Review existing solutions, identify opportunities for continuous improvements, and perform enhancements to systems. Must be willing to work in shifts, provide hand-over to global teams, and provide on-call support during off-business hours. 5 - 8 years of relevant experience with following skillsets Experience working in JD Edwards World modules, configuration, customization, and integration experience. Good understanding of the domain, business processes and functional configuration of JD Edwards systems in one or more of the four areas: (1) Finance & Accounting, (2) Land development and Construction management, (3) Purchasing and Sales, and (4) Master data and ReportingSound knowledge of JD Edwards integration techniques, data migration, and reporting tools.Experience working in Managed services environment providing application support, with strong knowledge on IT Service Management (ITSM) process including incident, request, and problem management. Experience working with cross functional teams.Proficient utilizing Reports Now or other finance reporting tools is a plus. Knowledge or experience working with other finance ERP such as Oracle Hyperion, Essbase, MetaViewer or Accounts Payable (AP) automation tool is a plus.
