• Provide technical leadership, complex systems development and ongoing support for varied technologies and major projects.
• Complete and oversee the most complex systems analysis, design and development efforts.
• Provide the highest-level analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies to assist the business areas and Bank in meeting their short-term business goals and long-term strategic objectives.
• Current tools set include Open Systems, Linux, Unix Scripting, GCP Cloud, Dataproc, Python, Terraform, Big Query, Tableau
• Prepare thorough, clear technical and functional specifications and update systems documentation.
• Create and execute unit test plans. Support regression and system testing efforts. Debug and problem solve issues found during testing and/or production.
• Maintain high level of technical aptitude and expert working knowledge of the supporting applications. Contribute to the wider technology community through conference presentations, white papers, blog posts.
• Mentor technology talent at grade 5 (staff engineers) and take an active role in the development of others. Production support activities as required.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelors/Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science / Information technology with relevant experience in application analysis, design and development.
• Understand application delivery and maintenance activities with experience in working with tools that aid delivery like JIRA, Confluence, GITHUB, Jenkins, SQL Developer, Information Server Platform, Control-M scheduler.
• Hands on experience with JAVA or Python, Linux, Terraform
• Hands on experience in working with ETL technologies, UNIX Scripting.
• Hands on Experience with cloud development, primarily GCP. Google Cloud Architect Certification is required.
• Experience in working with data projects and exposure to MF technology, COBOL, VSAM, DB2, JCL etc. is added advantage.
• Agile training is added advantage. Possess extensive and specialized technical knowledge in the business systems area (Risk, Model development & Regulatory reporting) which include applications development, business analysis and systems integration for business systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously. Ability to multitask for various components of complex projects. Strong organizational and time management skills.
