Role Description

In the Asset Services team, the candidate will be building products in the Corporate Actions space, and will be responsible for applications that provide comprehensive asset servicing functionality within Global Markets. We seek an enthusiastic technical and hands-on individual to help design and build solutions for a platform that drives strategic investment decisions in this space. The right candidate will have experience in producing \xe2\x80\x9cquality, testable and stable code\xe2\x80\x9c - designed for the future. The candidate must keep abreast of new technologies, with an eagerness to learn, pair and coach. The specific product is in the area of Asset Services-Bancs

Your key responsibilities

• Design & develop intuitive solutions for Investment Bank Asset Services Technologies &. Products
• Writing robust, well tested software
• Keen to work in an open culture with focus around pairing and sustainable code \xef\x82\xb7 Drive an automated DevOps culture with focus on CI/CD and monitoring \xef\x82\xb7 Propose and deliver architecture and system designs.

Your skills and experience

• Experienced full stack Java expertise in Enterprise Level Technologies
• Highly competent in Java, Oracle, Maven, MVC, Sprint Boot and design patterns. \xef\x82\xb7 Excellent SQL knowledge across relational databases (Oracle, Postgres) \xef\x82\xb7 DevOps knowledge: Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience in SOAP, Rest, Springboot, Middleware (JMS, MQ)
• Front-end knowledge (REACT/Charting Libraries) is nice to have
• Experience of designing sustainable solutions (monolith refactoring to services, testing focus, etc) \xef\x82\xb7 History of working in collaborative team environments.
• Experience in cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure/..) will be an added advantage \xef\x82\xb7 Test automation experience, TDD, Fitness, Junit as plus
