• In this role you will manage, lead, mentor a talented software engineering team to support and deliver leading edge web application and microservices integrations across upstream & downstream applications.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders from end-to,-end in MUFG by working with technology to drive new product implementations, system development, leveraging cutting-edge solutions using existing and emerging technology platform
• Oversee & deliver projects that follow the continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing
• Provide technical leadership in terms of architecting applications, mentoring developers, making smart technology decisions
• Build awareness, increase knowledge, and drive adoption of modern technologies and architecture patterns
• Strong leadership, people management, and influencing skills
• Ability to constructively work both independently and in collaborative environments involving all levels of management and employees
• Effectively communicate with key stakeholders across the enterprise, at all levels of the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate to wide variety of audiences including senior management
• Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities concurrently, prioritize, and efficiently complete responsibilities while maintaining the highest quality
• Strong work ethic, ability to make decisions and work under tight deadlines
• Effectively manage risks and ensure remediation plans that adhere to issues management mandates

• 6+ years of managing enterprise web applications, Microservices API, project execution & implementation involving Java, web services, vendor hosted solutions, web portal, messaging & integration hub, batch processing
• 5+ years of experience resource management
• Strong technical design knowhow, development guidance, coordinating across functional teams and supporting multiple parallel initiatives
• Overall 8+ years in IT Development with Java programming, including popular open-source libraries and frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular version 9+, NodeJS, CSS, HTML, Maven, Oracle, Apache, OpenShift, JBoss, MQ, Static code analysis, and automatic build framework
• 4 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes (Preferably OpenShift) Platform and Dockers technology
• Strong technical experience in vendor hosted application implementation & integrations (API, SAML, File Transmissions) with in-house systems
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Experience with major public cloud offerings and how to solution designs that are built around these technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and similar)
• Experience integrating with SSO system through OAuth and SAML
• Experience with Internet facing application providing API services.
• Experience with Kafka, push notification frameworks is a plus
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall development methodology
• Six Sigma or other process improvement framework experience preferred
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
