• Act as a SME on the design and implementation of technology solutions to meet the needs of the Wholesale Credit Lending Systems function on a tactical and strategic basis covering number of significant Regulatory and business transformation initiatives in the bank.
• Collaborate with technical leaders and product owners to contribute to product and project strategy, code standards, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering.
• Closely work with Lead Platform Architect to drive a robust and consistent platform & solution architecture
• Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework (in line with published standards and guidelines) and with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives.
• Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle. Carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between the technology stacks.
• Advocate and advance modern software development practices within the mobile engineering community.
• Grow the technical expertise of engineering community.
• Helping with designing, maintaining and improving all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Extensive IT development experience on Java (Spring MVC & DB2/MongoDB).
• Need to have expertise in coding in Full stack Java development with Bootstrap, Spring MVC & DB2/MongoDB with sound knowledge of CSS.
• Good knowledge on building and designing Rest API, API Gateway, API Standards, Micro-services, Web services and Integration styles
• Exposure to different integration paradigms (e.g., REST, Event Driven Architecture and messaging)
• Knowledge and/or work experience in MS PowerPlatform and Oracle suite of banking products will be an added advantage
• Knowledge on Automation Testing, BDD frameworks and tools
• Familiar with security practices for development
• Knowledge of tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, JIRA, Confluence
• Experience on CI/CD pipelines like ARCAD, RTC, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience of working in Agile/Scrum project management process.
• Understanding of Credit Risk Domain would be an added advantage
• Credibility and ability to influence stakeholders convincingly with well-considered logic.
• A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications.
• Proven project management skills, including planning, prioritisation, delegation and delivery of outstanding results.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
• The individual should be self-motivated, customer focussed with an ability to solve complex problems with an eye for detail and accuracy
