• analyze business requirements for the applications managed within the crew and implement new features
• help us build state of the art solutions using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, etc.
• working with Agile methodologies and tools such as GitLab, Jira, Confluence etc.
• supporting business users, which involves troubleshooting, debugging and upgrade existing software / database.
• integrate software components and third-party programs
• demonstrate superior problem-solving skills
• demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs

UBS RecruitingYour teamYou will be a key member of a young and expanding team that is part of the Compliance Technology function. We are a small friendly bunch who take pride in the quality of work that we do. As a team, we provide AI based solutions on top of a big data platform, working closely with peers from the business led data science team, as well as other engineering teams.Your expertise

• degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master\'s degree)
• 7-10 years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, etc.)
• strong coding skills in Java, Spring Boot and other Java based frameworks (must have)
• experience and expertise working in a microservices based architecture
• practical experience in working with Oracle (PL/SQL) and Postman
• experience in working in a MS Azure (added advantage)
• experience in coding skills in JavaScript or Shell scripting (added advantage)
• knowledge of NICE Actimize products (RCM, ActOne) is a plus
• have Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices part of your DNA (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Salt stack, Ansible, Docker)
• demonstrate strong communication skills, both to senior management and teams
• background in IB or Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage)
• strong analytical and problem solving skills
• collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity
