Roles and Responsibilities :

1) Experience of java/portlet (WebSphere Portal) developer resource with more than 5 years' experience.
2) Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
3) Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
4) Understanding of the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity).
5) Experience in working with frameworks like Spring MVC (With Portlet).
6) Strong hands-on development experience on Java / J2EE technologies.
7) Experience working with WebSphere Portal and Application server and Hands on experience Portlet development.
8) Experience in using tools like Rational Application Developer, WinSCP is preferable.
9) Experience in using Logging Framework such as LOG4J.
10) Hands on experience on CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery.
11) Development exposure on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
12)Knowledge of the life insurance industry desired.
