Read onxe2x80xa6What youxe2x80x99ll do in the role:This is a hands-on technical Environment Manager (VP lead) position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Work with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on new requirement, known defects, and issues.
  • Developing and implementing the data pipeline for is in line with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.
  • Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for the smooth functioning of the Application.
  • Managing end-to-end data architecture, from designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution
  • Planning and execution of solutions using technologies such as Hive and Spark/DataBricks.
  • Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization
  • Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security
  • Conducting a continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partner teams, Tech BAs and business.
  • Quickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback.
  • Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices for data on Hadoop.
  • Implement measures to maintain/improve platform stability, security, and quality.
What youxe2x80x99ll bring to the role:Primary skills
  • Proficiency in one or more general purpose big data languages - Hadoop, Python, Hive, HDFS and Spark
  • 7 years+ experience designing and development using Python or Spark.
  • 2+ years' experience working in UNIX, SQL, Java and/or Scala
  • 3 to 5 years' experience with Unix shell scripting
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
  • Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms * Experience with adaptive and responsive development techniques.
  • Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners
