• Lead a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Drive the development of microservices-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies and Spring framework.
• Architect and implement solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance product capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, plan releases, and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience with building microservices-based applications.

• Experience with RESTful web services, SOAP, and other communication protocols.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Ember.js, Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hospitality/Travel domain knowledge and or interface development a plus.
